Hi my name is Jade! My foster Mom calls me a, “Well behaved bundle of energy”. I was surrendered by my previous owner because their lives changed and I needed to find a new home. I adjusted to my foster family immediately and became part of the family. It is apparent that I was loved and well cared for in my original home.

I live with three resident pugs and I love them and get along with them great. Penny and I love to wrestle together on the bed, especially at bedtime! As much as I enjoy being around the other pugs, my real love is being around people! I am always so excited to see people and interact with them. I also enjoy just sitting on the couch and hanging out. I particularly LOVE to have my tummy rubbed! Pretty much anything as long as I’m with my people!

I am house trained and have never had an accident in my foster home. I know some basic commands such as sit, stay and come. Any time you call me, I will come to you on the run! I am always on the go but my good behavior makes my high energy very manageable! I also live with a cat and we have an agreement that she ignores me and I ignore her. It works very well for both of us. My foster family has really not found anything that I don’t like. I love treats and am very motivated to do what you ask in exchange for a treat. When it is time to go to my crate, I run there full speed too and patiently wait for my treat. Sometimes I get a little excited about my treats and I get a little grabby. I only stay in the crate when everyone is gone. I sleep on the big bed with my people and the other pugs at night and that is where I love to be! I live with two 14 year old twin girls and they like to dress me up and paint my nails. I enjoy all of this and love the attention. Baths and car rides are also a fun adventure for me and I do really well.

I have won the hearts of my foster family and as hard as it will be for them to see me go, they say I am going to make some lucky family very happy when I find my furever home!
