Myles
Name: Myles
Age: 2 years
Sex: Male
Weight: 22 lbs.
Altered: Yes
Previous Life: Breeder Release
Good with Dogs: Yes, and will need another dog in the home around his size.
Good with Cats: Unknown, but if a cat doesn’t interact with him, he likely won’t pay attention. Keep in mind that he doesn’t realize his size and when excited, will knock others out of the way.
Good with Kids: Older children only. Myles does not realize his size so no small children as he may knock them over when excited.
Likes: Bully sticks (with supervision), anything he can chew on, toys, and treats. Loves to snuggle with his foster mom and loves to be in the bed any chance he can get.
Dislikes: Myles is still skittish with loud noises or sudden movements but is getting better
House-trained: Myles has no issues as long as he has a routine. He does need someone supervising him outside as he will refuse to go potty unless foster mom stays with him and prompts him to go.
Crate trained: He doesn’t care for it but we’ve been working on it. He will not sleep overnight in it.
Fenced yard required: Yes
Special needs: Myles is unable to go down stairs on his own. He is able to go down a couple of stairs but more than that, he need to be carried. His difficulty is due to the fold on his face and not being able to see directly down in front of himself. He is able to go up stairs with no problems!
Meet Myles, a charming 2-year-old pug who’s ready to find his forever home! Myles came to us as a breeder release and has since made incredible progress. After surgery to improve his breathing and shedding some extra pounds, he’s now living his best life—full of snuggles, treats, toys, and love. Myles is still getting the hang of leash walking but is happy to be your companion—unless it’s too cold, then he’s all about cozying up indoors. He’s a social pup who thrives with another dog to show him the ropes and snuggle with. Myles would do best in a home with a sturdy, similarly sized dog and a securely fenced yard, as he’s a bit of a speedy adventurer.
With a clean bill of health, plenty of energy, and a heart full of sweetness, Myles is ready to bring joy to your home. Could he be the perfect addition to your family?
